Lost Ark Winter
When my client mentioned they’d like to try something new with their product photography, we came up with a more “lifestyle” feel to showcase their brand. Let me start off by saying that Brad, the owner of Lost Ark Distillery in Maryland is a fantastic photographer, and the product photos he shoots are amazing! If you follow Lost Ark on Instagram, you’ll see they are not lacking in gorgeous photography. This year, we’re shooting a series of seasonal lifestyle shoot to showcase the brand.
We’ve had lots of snow this year in Northeast Ohio, which made it a perfect setting for this wintertime shoot. So, on a sunny, cold and snowy day, I texted my neighbor and asked him to be the model, and we went outside to my backyard and shot these gorgeous wintery pics. I was after and rugged, outdoorsy feel. I thought my model knocked it out of the park!
I had this bottle of Lost Ark Dark Rum, one of the more recent additions to the product line. Look at the the color of the reflection in the snow. Love it!
There is an old carriage house in my backyard that I’m told is the oldest building in my town. It was built in the mid 1800s!

What says winter lifestyle more than some cross country skis? There wasn’t any actual skiing done this day, but the skis made for some good props!
